Getting Ready for Easter

“Re-charge”, “Restore”, “Renew”, “Works of Love”… all words you’ve heard from the pulpit or read in the bulletin as we move through Lent and prepare for Easter. Mark your calendars at 9 am Saturday, April 2nd as an opportunity to turn these words into action at Faith. On that day with your help we’ll be putting the finishing touches on the church “To Do” list lovingly and enthusiastically generated by Jane Upham and also replenishing the Pre-school playground with wood chips. We’re helping to pay for the woodchips (which are necessary to bring the playground up to standard) with a $250 Thrivent Action Team grant. If you want to take part in that portion of the workday bring a shovel or rake if possible. If you want to participate in the church campus workday you can clean, paint, weed, dust, lift, spray, trim, fertilize, organize, supervise or find other ways to use your mind and/or your muscle. Dress accordingly and be assured come Palm Sunday and Easter we’ll present not only an inspiring message but a beautiful venue to both members and visitors.
