Thrivent Volunteers Help Hospice of the Valley

April means spring and summer flowers. Faith Thrivent volunteers recently used part of a $250 Action Team grant to buy and deliver an array of summer hardy flowers to the Gardiner facility of the Hospice of the Valley. Planted in various spots on the Gardiner campus, the colorful plants make pleasant viewing for Hospice clients. We used the remainder of the grant to purchase three picture boards and four units of essential oils for aromatherapy as part of the Hospice’s Dementia Care Wishlist.
