This week at Faith

I’m back from vacation!

In case you were wondering where I went, I was fortunate enough to return to my home state of Michigan with some gal pals from college. If you squint real hard, you can see the Mackinac Bridge on the right side of the photo behind me. This photo was taken on Mackinac Island, right in front of the Grand Hotel where Somewhere in Time was shot!

When I was in high school, I attended a servant event on St. Helena Island in the straits of Mackinac, only a few miles away from where I stand in this photo. This trip served as a rejuvenating reminder of God’s presence everywhere we go, and with everyone we speak to.

Counting
Normally, counting would be done on the last day of the month, but due to some technical issues, we were unable to count the offerings today, September 30. If you’re wondering when your check will be cashed, you can expect that to happen around the middle of next week. And don’t you worry - your September contributions will go onto your September statement!

Look at these sweet precious angels! On Thursdays, I give them wet food, and they know when to expect it!

The sweet little angel in the back is Mama, and Patches is in the front giving me the evil eye. She wants her snacks!

I can’t even handle sweet Lucky Boy

He knows when snack time is too! If you’ve ever seen Lucky on campus, you know that he’s a vocal little guy and wants to make sure that he gets all of the attention that he possibly can. I walked out to the cat food bin and there he was, on top of the column, just watching!

If you spend enough time saying “pspspspsps” to Lucky, he may even let you pet him!
