Prop 307 and Faith’s Community Ministry

Thanks to all Arizonans, including the many at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church (FELC), who took the time to sign the petition in September to block the “flat tax” proposal that was introduced in the last moments of the 2021 State Legislative Session. That show of voter power and democracy was successful to prevent that dangerous flat tax from being written into law without further discussion! There were enough voter signatures obtained to certify the referendum and it will appear on the 2022 Ballot as Proposition 307. Now all Arizona voters will have the full information and will be able to exercise informed voting rights to decide the fate of that unfair taxation. “Of the people, by the people, and for the people “ still works!
