Chili Bake Sale
I snuck this one in real steathily to the Important 4th Quarter Dates article, so I’m announcing it twice (and many more times). On Sunday, December 5th between services, Faith Lutheran Church will be reprising its annual tradition of a Chili Bake Sale. Cheryl Gollhardt will be organizing the event again this year, and needs folks who are willing to make chili and donate baked goods for this fundraiser. In the past, proceeds from this event have been dedicated to our General Fund.

If you’re interested in participating, please contact me here at the church office (602-265-3394 or info@faithalive.com), and I’ll get you in touch with Cheryl!

Evening Prayer Services (with Holy Communion)
On the first Saturday of October, we held our inaugural evening prayer service. The plan at the time had been to hold evening services on Saturdays, but the plan has changed! Our once-a-month evening prayer services will now be held on the first Sunday of each month at 6pm in the chapel. That means the next one will be on Sunday, November 7 at 6pm.

In Our Prayers…
Today we pray for the family of Jan Kuenzli, as her mother Helen Davis passed away this week at 99 years old. God bless her wonderfully long life, and her sharp wit.

Handbell Choir
Our Handbell Choir needs one or two more people who’d like to ring some bells and make joyful noises. If you are interested in participating, please contact Dr. Craig Westendorf, Director of Music at musicforfaith@gmail.com.

Worship Committee Meeting Scheduled
As we prepare for the Re-Formation event of the season, it may interest you to know that the Worship Committee will be planning the Advent Season and starting conversations about Easter at their next meeting on Wednesday, November 17 at 5:30pm. If you are interested in joining, please fill out the form below.
