Join me in congratulating Jan & Ken Kuenzli on welcoming another grandchild into this world!
Welcome Zachary Thomas Jones born February 12, 2022 at 6:43 a.m. weighed 6 pounds 14 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. Proud parents are Jessica (Kuenzli) and Matthew Jones. Zachary joins big sister Jacquelyn (14) and brother Timothy (10). Grandparents Ken and Jan Kuenzli are over the moon with this little guy and they still cannot believe they now have 5 grandchildren. Uncle Stephen and Aunt Jen, William (4) and Grace (4 months) are so excited to have a new cousin. Looking forward to many happy adventures together.
I would also like to take a moment to request some congratulations for myself, Carly Chamberlain, Office Admin Emeritus. You may know that I started the discernment process with the synod last summer, as I feel called to lead in the church. I have spent the past seven months fervently working on a 10-page essay, going through psych evals, credit and background checks, and talking to every ordained person who is willing to tell me about her call. Earlier this week, I had an interview with the GCS candidacy committee, and they decided to recommend me for entrance into Seminary! Next stop: Grad School Applications, USA!
