Meet Kevin & Cody

On Reformation Sunday, we welcomed five new members to our ranks! This week, I’d like to feature a little bio on two wonderful humans who joined us last month.

Cody Schaar and Kevin Daugherty recently moved to Phoenix from Pittsburgh, PA when Kevin got a job as a minister at Solomon’s Porch. Cody loves to read books, watch movies, cook, travel, and take photos of all of his adventures! Meanwhile, Kevin enjoys much of the same, with the bonus hobby of playing video games.

They found us here at Faith by seeking out Reconciling in Christ congregations in the valley. Good thing we are one! Cody is really looking forward to getting more involved with planning worship, education and bible studies, as he’s aiming to become an ELCA pastor in the future!

They have two sweet pupperonis named Luther and Snickers. I am hoping that they will send me photos of their dogs that I can share with you next week.
