God’s Work, Our Hands Sunday

Mark your calendars! The ELCA day of service, God’s Work, Our Hands Sunday is scheduled for September 12 at 1pm.

We will be using our lunch packing skills to put together snack bags for the IHELP Homeless Program, or Asylum Seekers entering the United States legally.

In the meantime, we are asking YOU to start bringing in the snacks that we will provide! They will need simple, sweet and savory snacks like nuts, crackers, chips, fruit snacks, individual packets of beef jerky or tuna, etc. Grab the snacks that you think will be good, and bring them on down to the church office before Saturday, September 11.
