Give to the Future of Faith
This month we are starting a new fund for people to Give to the future of Faith Lutheran Church.
In honor of our 75th, 76th and 77th year we are contacting previous members and present members to contribute to a Faith Future Fund. Over the last year and a half, I’ve been learning a lot about our beautiful building and campus, and all of the ways that our congregation’s home needs a little TLC. Our estimated repairs and renovations to various areas of the church facility amount to upward of $100,000:
Leaded stained glass windows estimated repair: $45k+
Organ repairs estimate: $10k+
Parking lot resurfacing: $60k+
Those estimates are only for repairs that we’ve already had looked at by professionals. There are additional roofing repairs over chapel and Faith center that are needed immediately, and many of the 21 air conditioners are all scheduled for replacement in the next few years.
This feels daunting, I am sure. It feels that way because it is daunting. The good news is that Faith has been home to more than just the ~60 people who show up to worship each week. We need help contacting former members and families who would also want to see Faith restored and steadfast in the spot we claimed for God more than 75 years ago, here on the corner of 7th St and Camelback rd.
