GCS Vital Congregations Training

I’ve said it once, I’ll say it a thousand times: Transition periods are wild. I mean, really. We’ve seen a nearly 100% employee turnover in the past year, we’ve had to say goodbye to beloved church members, both in celebration and in mourning, and we’re looking for direction in our own ministries.

What better time than this to participate in a FREE Vital Congregations Training offered in partnership with the ELCA Christian Community and Leadership Congregational Vitality Team. This free training will be comprised of the following four sessions:

  • May 27, 10:30am - 12pm MST

  • June 10, 10:30am - 12pm MST

  • June 24, 10:30am - 12pm MST

  • July 8, 10:30am - 12pm MST

Here’s how the GCS News blog describes this training:

This is an invitation to existing congregations leaders interested in tools and ideas for revitalizing our ministries together. Teams of 3, 4 or more are invited to come with their pastor to reignite mission. This course will offer best practices and strong foundations for congregations that have historically been identified as being in the important times of redevelopment, transformation, and renewal.

This is an opportunity to discern, kickstart efforts, or begin to reimagine in the hopes of growth in vitality, sustainability, and reaching new people.

If you are interested in participating, feel free to sign up directly by clicking here, or you can contact me, Carly Chamberlain at the church office at 602-265-3394 or info@faithalive.com. I’ll also be participating in the training, so we can talk about the sessions after! Registration closes 5/24/21
