Covid-19 Update

Thank you to everyone for your gracious understanding and mindful disconnection in the face of our recent experience with a covid diagnosis within the congregation. There is certainly a strange sort of connotation and shame that tends to accompany a positive diagnosis, but we all know that it just kind of… happens sometimes. While many of us have a choice to stay home and avoid close contact with strangers, some of us are not able to do the same. Your willingness to love and protect your Neighbors is inspiring. What a wonderful group we have here.

To give you a little bit more news: We have not received any additional reports of positive covid-19 diagnoses, and have no reason to believe that this most recent case will lead to any further infections within the congregation. That said, we are closely monitoring your health, and we ask you to keep us posted! If you are feeling feverish or sick in any way, please avoid church events and large gatherings until you are certain that you are not carrying the virus. If you receive a positive diagnosis, and have attended a church function within the past 14 days, please contact Carly at the church office as soon as possible (602-265-3394).

We hope to restart our weekly Coffee & Conversation Hour (C-Time) on Sunday, October 17. Signups are in the breezeway!

If you have any additional questions or concerns about the way that Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church is managing our pandemic response, please contact the church office.
