Dear People of God at Faith/La Fe!

It is truly a blessing to be among you. My journey of faith has been long and I thank God for bringing me to Faith/La Fe. I am a firm believer that God places us where we are needed, or where we need to be for God’s plans are perfect and on God’s time, not ours.

I want to take a moment to give my gratitude to all for your support, encouragement, and prayers throughout my journey to Ordination. Thank you to Coro de Fe and The Chancel Choir for sharing their beautiful gift of music and thank you to all those who worked to make the service and reception a beautiful and memorable occasion for all who attended.

As you know my major focus will be our Latino ministry but like I have expressed in the past, we are one congregation with two essences. Faith/La Fe has called me and there is no distinction among us and I am here to serve the whole congregation.

My office hours in the church office will be Monday and Tuesday between about 9:30 am and 1:30 pm. During this time, I might be called away for meetings with members of the congregation and others, but feel free to stop by or schedule a visit to get to know you better.

We are working on setting up a new email address for me but for the moment my vicar@faithalive.com is active, I monitor my emails constantly. You can also reach me by calling the church office (602-265-3394) or my cell phone at (602) 768-6091

I would be getting more involved as I get familiar in the congregation's routines.

In these first months of our ministry together, one of my focuses will be to re-establish our convivial time after the 11:00 service and use this time to get to know us better and to explore What are the unique gifts that this community of faith possesses, and how might those gifts be use in order to meet needs and opportunities in our community

I will be preparing printed material to explore our neighborhood and start making connections with the community, these I hope will be project of the whole congregation as Jesus sent His disciples two by two to share the good news. It is my hope that we will be able to do the same, with printed material both in English and Spanish.

I would like to explore the possibility for the woman and anyone else that is interested to meet once a month on a Saturday for brunch. Please mark your calendar for November 19, 2022 at 10:00 am to have this gathering to discern or brainstorm possibilities. My hope is that we can create something new.

I am excited and hopeful for our new journey together to share God’s love with the world.

I am Thankful to God and to you for the opportunity to serve God and this congregation.

¡Querido pueblo de Fe!

Es una verdadera bendición estar entre ustedes. Mi viaje de fe ha sido largo y le agradezco a Dios por traerme a Faith/La Fe. Soy una firme creyente de que Dios nos coloca donde se nos necesita o donde tenemos estar, porque los planes de Dios son perfectos y en el tiempo de Dios, no en el nuestro.

Quiero tomar un momento para dar mi gratitud a todos por su apoyo, estímulo y oraciones a lo largo de mi viaje a la ordenación. Gracias a Coro de Fe y al Coro Chancel por compartir su hermoso don de música y gracias a todos los que trabajaron para hacer el servicio de Ordenacion y la recepción una ocasión hermosa y memorable para todos los que asistieron.

Como ustedes saben mi mayor enfoque será nuestro ministerio latino, MEsspero como he expresado en el pasado, somos una congregación con dos esencias. Faith/La Fe me ha llamado y no hay distinción entre nosotros y estoy aquí para servir a toda la congregación.

Mi horario de trabajo en la oficina de la iglesia será el lunes y el martes entre las 9:30 am y la 1:30 pm aproximadamente. Durante este tiempo, es posible que me llamen para reuniones con miembros de la congregación y otros, pero siéntanse libres de pasar o programar una visita para conocerlos mejor.

Estamos trabajando en la creación de una nueva dirección de correo electrónico para mí, pero por el momento mi vicar@faithalive.com está activo, yo reviso mis correos electrónicos constantemente. También pueden comunicarse conmigo llamando a la oficina de la iglesia (602-265-3394) o a mi teléfono celular (602) 768-6091

Me involucraré más a medida que me familiarice con las rutinas de la congregación.

En estos primeros meses de nuestro ministerio juntos, uno de mis enfoques será restablecer nuestro tiempo de convivio después del servicio de las 11:00 y usar este tiempo para conocernos mejor y explorar Cuáles son los dones únicos que posee esta comunidad de fe, y cómo podrían usarse esos dones para satisfacer las necesidades y oportunidades en nuestra comunidad

Estaré preparando material impreso para explorar nuestro vecindario y comenzar a hacer conexiones con la comunidad, esto espero que sea un proyecto de toda la congregación, así como Jesús envió a sus discípulos de dos en dos a compartir las buenas nuevas, es mi esperanza que podamos hacer lo mismo, con material impreso tanto en inglés como en español.

Me gustaría explorar la posibilidad de que las mujeres y cualquier otra persona que esté interesada se reúna una vez al mes en un sábado para tener un almuerzo. Por favor, marque su calendario para el 19 de noviembre de 2022 a las 10:00 am para tener esta reunión para discernir o hacer una lluvia de ideas sobre las posibilidades. Mi esperanza es que podamos crear algo nuevo.

Estoy emocionada y esperanzada por nuestro nuevo viaje juntos para compartir el amor de Dios con el mundo.
